It would depend on the rod chosen. Each rod is listed with a recommended line weight and also power rating. The rod you chose will be best selected based on the type of fish you wish to catch and the fishing environment. The wild wild orange, green, black or pros may be used in fresh water fishing. For the Great Lakes area, for bass or trout fishing any of the rods in the series mentioned will be great for your use. For pan fish please select a Medium Light rod. Tension specifications are related to line weight and power.
