I'm one of the newest members of Team Orange, and let me tell you, I couldn't be any happier to be a part of any other prostaff out there! The new line of Wild Wild rods that Carrot Stix has on the market are second to none! I have been putting my two Wild Wild Blacks and my new Wild Wild Orange through the ringer since I got them in both weekend tournaments and just regular fishing, and I have to say that they are definitely the best rods I have ever used! Strong, lite, superior fishability! The 6'6" M-MF-C Wild Wild Black has proven to be an awesome crankbait rod for me! It has a soft tip to really load up and let those fish have the bait, but also plenty of backbone for getting fish out of heavy cover. The 7' H-F-C is a powerfisherman's dream! I have used it to throw frogs, big swimbaits, and swimjigs! It is insanely multidimensional due to the soft tip action paired with untouchable backbone strength! You can wench fish out of anything without worrying about whether or not this rod can hold up to the pressure because I promise you it can! Last but not least, I was looking for a rod to devote specifically to a shaky-head worm presentation, and I found it in the 6'6" Wild Wild Orange M-MF-C! This rod is the perfect rod for finesse presentations with a baitcaster/casting rod combo! It has enough play to keep from bending the small hooks of finesse jigheads, yet it has enough backbone to get those fish out of those deepwater brush piles and tree tops!
All of these rods are outstanding! I cannot wait to get my hands on some more! My boat deck will be lined with nothing but Wild Wild Carrot Stix rods every time I go fishing for a very long time! Rip Some Lips!
