Decide what better way to test out a new rod then to load up the kayaks and head out to the marsh. As soon as we get on the water we notice some birds crashing on some bait. Time to go!! Make it close enough to start trying and first cast had a nice trout on! The wild green couldn't have handled it better! I felt every small little thud before the trout smoked my matrix shad!
