Carrot Stix Rods are the Best

I finally received my Carrot Stix in the mail and I had to go break them in that day! I picked up the Wild Wild Orange  7'0 medium moderate action and tied on a weightless trick worm on. I was fishing in some heavy grass cover just letting the worm fall into the pockets. It's crazy how sensitive this rod is and I'm glad it is cause this big girl just barely bit it. This rod is very light weight and very sensitive and most rods like that will snap in half on a good hard hook set, but not this one. I got a good deep hook set in the top of the mouth, and pulled her through thick grass mats with no problems at all. Very tough rod, very light weight, and that's what you need in a rod for them long days on the water. In my opinion, it's a must to have on the boat as a go to rod.
