Carrot Stix Fishing Rods Summer Pattern

The summer heat is upon us here in the Florida panhandle and a lot of the Bass are relating to deeper water. In my home lake this means a lot of pitching and flipping on the grass lines of the deeper channels. While flipping these grass lines I look for any type of wood cover on the edge and fish it thoroughly. I like to use the Wild Wild Orange, 7'6" heavy, carbon nano fiber rod by Carrot Stix. This rod has the sensitivity to feel the most subtle bites and definitely has the back bone to get them in the boat. If you have never used one of these rods you are definitely missing out and probably missing a lot of bites too. I usually use a big Texas rigged worm with a 3/8 oz weight. The last couple weeks this pattern has been on fire. The hotter and brighter the day is, the more the fish are relating to the wood cover. Grab you a Carrot Stix Rod and put it to work. It will help you have one the best fishing experiences ever.
