The reel has performed very well wether your casting it or pitching it. I have to say that the Carrot Stix Dual Speed Casting Reel casts further, with a smooth retrieve and a good breaking system. My advice take sometime to dial in the breaking system to your liking and you'll find it's the easiest casting reel to use on the market today. Here's a good setting point for the breaking system that works for me. The inside dial I have set at 2, and the outside dial is set at 3.
