I boat captain high school anglers and these rods have been the best tool for teaching them different techniques because of how sensitive these rods are. These young men and women can actually feel what is going on with their bait which has sped up the learning curve for teaching these young people our great sport of fishing.I had one of my youth anglers tell me that he thinks these rod are sensitive enough to feel a fish breath on your lure I'm not going to go that far but what I will say with the carrot stix rods in your hand you will have the feel of an ultra light rod with the backbone of an oak tree. These rods will help you catch more fish I know what your thinking how is that you say well let me tell you. The rods are so light you will be able to fish longer without fatigue witch means more casts which equals more fish.
