Is there a specific type of fishing line that I should use with my Carrot Stix Fishing Rod?

The Carrot Stix rods have a line rating for each model. The line rating is based on both the strength of the rod and expected use. The rating is for monofilament line, if you use braided line you can go higher. Most braided line sold has an equivalent mono rating so check before you buy. Check the rating of your reel as well.
