I have been wanting to get into fishing as a hobby for a while now, but I really do not know where to start. So, what type of equipment do I need to begin fishing as a hobby?

Hi Spring, fishing is a great hobby, lets you get away from the hustle and bustle of every day life and experience nature. Must haves, rod, reel, line, hooks or lures. You will need a tacklebox with pliers, line-cutters, extra hooks or lures (you will lose them) weights and a scale for measuring the fish you catch. Everything else you will find you will get because of convenience, a net is strongly suggested to bring the fish in and out of the water. Using the rod is something that should be avoided.
