As soon as I received my CarrotStix I went to a river close of my home to try them out ! As soon as you take the rods in your hands,you know that these rods are great. They are strong, lite and very sensitive (as you can see with the size of the bass I caught). I used my 3 rods for all purpose (lite hardbait, medium hardbait, all kind of softbait, Spinnerbait, jigs) and with a lot of differents technics (vertical jigging, casting, trolling, Drop-Shot) and they are great for everything. I try it on boat and from shore. The MicroGuides system helps you to get longer and more accurate cast.

I used it for bigger lure too because I wanted to test it, and it gets the job done! I used 1oz jighead on st-lawrence river for walleye and it felt great.

I removed all my other rods on my boat and I'm using only these 3 rods for now! It's sure that when I'll need an other rod, I'll buy an other CarrotStix!
